Teachers (maybe some students) and schools that want an innovative curriculum designed to engage and challenge their students. Most of the "canon" of high school humanities skips around the topics covered here. I had some "ah, hah!" moments in my 48 years of teaching, surprisingly surrounding topics that were new to me (a Jesuit-educated, public school teacher who was familiar with the classics and a feeling that some of the classics were not getting to the students).
